London Skolars this evening look to kick-off a weekend of rugby league in London when they take on York at New River this evening. The Skolars who have been in a rich vein of form lately will be looking to take the points needed to keep alive their National League Two playoff hopes.
Whilst attention may be diverted away from New River tomorrow for the showpiece Challenge Cup Final Sunday will see the return of the annual Middlesex 9s competition, complete with real ale festival.

London Skolars announce 2007 Middlesex 9’s
London Skolars have announced details of the 2007 Middlesex 9’s tournament to be held on Sunday 29th August, the day after the 2007 Challenge Cup final returns to Wembley Stadium.
The 9’s tournament has become a firm favourite down at New River in recent years, with Barla winning last year’s competition against Tatarstan.
Fans in the capital looking to get a whole weekend long fix of rugby league also have the opportunity to take in London Skolars home game against York City Knights on the evening of Friday 27th August.
